Hey dads, did you get our first issue of the Docs2Dads Newsletter last week? If not, it’s because you haven’t gone to www.docs2dads.com yet to sign up for our mailing list. Each issue will include a key takeaway from the podcast, some inspiration for your weekend playtime, and what I’m doing in my downtime that might be interesting to you or help you up your game as a dad.

This week, we are starting with the youngest little ones and exploring some of those important milestones to be looking out for, when to be worried about your baby’s hearing and vision, and, most importantly, what fun playtime with your baby should look like in these early days.

Because even though dads love playtime, sometimes it can be scary or intimidating to think about playtime with kids at this age, but as they start to smile and laugh, it gets easier and easier. Mostly at this age, you are reading books (whatever you are reading, doesn’t have to be kids’ books yet) or tummy time. My personal favorite version of tummy time is chest-to-chest tummy time, so you get the eye contact and the bonding.

I would love to answer your questions about development. Please send them to me at docs2dadspod@gmail.com or on any of our social media platforms!!

Our community is here to help you: 💪up your game as a JOY-FILLED dad 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 be the leader your family needs you to be ❤️‍🩹build a happier, healthier life for yourself, your family, and your community.
