This week, I am excited to bring you an interview I did with some dear friends on their Podcast – “Less Stress in Life” where we talked about my philosophy of being a pediatrician and helping families cope with the stresses that all families face.

I start the episode with some explanations of what we mean we discuss “trauma” and “Adverse Childhood Experiences” and steps parents can take to overcome the trauma they have dealt with in their life.

I discuss some of the interesting research that I reference in the clinic and when teaching my pediatric residents to care for families.

If you are someone who has experienced trauma and still have symptoms that interfere with you becoming the parent you want to be. Please seek help.  If you need help, please reach out to me or connect with Deb and Barb at LessStressInLife.com
